SomeraRoad hopes to transform the Martin and Merritt corner into a neighborhood center that is a community and pedestrian-focused mixed-use development that intelligently and authentically elevates Wedgewood Houston’s commercial corridor in a manner that effectively responds to the needs of neighbors and community members.

What's There Now

The site is currently underutilized as it includes a small commercial office space, an industrial millwork facility and a former mobile home site. With its location and significance, it can provide more to the community.

What's Happening Next

The project team has begun preliminary site analysis and planning. SomeraRoad has invested heavily in Wedgewood Houston and have great respect for the community and its dedicated commitment to its neighborhood.

It is important to us that the community is heard and we can implement concepts that best suits the future of Wedgewood Houston! Over time, we will be soliciting feedback on various components and opportunities at Martin and Merritt.
