1818 ECR named Casa Esperanza!

Thank you all for participating in our last poll!

We are excited to announce that our new community at 1818 El Camino Real will be called Casa Esperanza. Casa Esperanza means House of Hope in Spanish, representing the future we hope to see in Redwood city.

Your participation during this process has been more than helpful. Please continue to share your feedback and questions on in the Feedback section. Thanks!

Thank you to everyone who has commented so far! We appreciate all your feedback and it’s helped us get a better understanding of the community’s interest in the project.

We have a brand new poll up on our website where we are asking for your help to select a new name. Please vote for your favorite name here.

We can't wait to hear from you!

Construction begins!

We are excited to announce that we have begun construction! Our current plan is for the bulk of construction to take place from June to September, with a minimal amount of construction a few months after that. The vast majority of construction will be converting the interior of the motel units to permanent housing, so we do not expect that there will be significant neighborhood disturbance.
