What's in the Works

325 Binney Street is located at the intersection of Binney Street and Fulkerson Street in Kendall Square, Cambridge. Formerly the location of the Metropolitan Pipe & Supply Company and one of the most innovative, collaborative clusters in the world, the site will be home to an approximately 375,000 square-foot, state-of-the-art, highly-sustainable science and technology building.

Concurrent to the development of the new building will be the conveyance of 1,800 linear feet (from Binney Street to Cambridge Street) of the Grand Junction Multi-Use Pathway to the City of Cambridge. This section of the Path is one of the final pieces that will allow cyclists and pedestrians to travel from (the future) West Station in Boston over the Charles River into Cambridge and connect to the Somerville Community Path and beyond. Alexandria will also contribute $11.25M to the design and construction of the Grand Junction Multi-Use Pathway.
