This project proposes to add 17 commercial parking spaces at Burnam's Restaurant located at 2 High Street/366 Pleasant Street. The property is located in the Industrial Zone and the Ashland Downtown District A Overlay Zone. The new parking spaces would be used by MBTA riders.
The existing building serves as the restaurant and the residence of the property owner. The area proposed for the new additional parking was constructed in 2003 as an "outdoor" component of the restaurant and would, under this proposal, be converted into parking.
