My Place Group is proposing to construct a mixed-use apartment building of 109 units with 62 parking spaces, 44 bike parking spaces, and around 2000 sq. ft. of new retail fronting Lorain Avenue. The proposal includes re-using two historic buildings on Lorain Avenue.
The site is currently comprised of three small buildings, a used car lot, and a house.
The project team is meeting with the community to understand their feedback and the project is currently under review. No permits have been filed as of this point. New retail space will add jobs to the neighborhood.
The long-vacant building at the corner of West 50th and Lorain Avenue will be preserved and incorporated into the new project, bringing it back to life.
Approximately 62 new parking spots and 44 bicycle spaces will be built or secured through this project.
Around 2,000 Sq ft of new retail will house small business(es)
Units are ADA Accessible.
