What's in the Works

Arx Urban and Boylston Properties have proposed to transform an underutilized surface parking lot at 525 Lincoln Street into a vibrant co-living building, comprised of purpose-built high density shared suites and studios where individuals rent their own private bedroom and bathroom and share common areas, kitchens, living rooms, and other amenity spaces. The Proponent will partner with Common, the largest and most experienced co-living management company in the United States, to oversee daily operations after the construction of the Project.

What's There Now

The site is currently an underutilized asphalt parking lot which abuts Cambridge Street, Lincoln Street and the Lincoln Street Green Strip. The Proponent plans to revitalize the Green Strip and incorporate it into the Project’s landscape plan in a potential partnership with the Friends of the Lincoln Green Strip and the Allston Brighton CDC.

What's Happening Next

The Proponent has filed an Expanded Project Notification Form with the Boston Planning and Development Agency (BPDA) and the Project is currently under review.
