Bridgeworks

Bridgeworks is a combination of historic preservation and new construction.

 It consists of mixed-income housing, a drastic increase in the enhanced public realm, a boutique hotel, and the creation of multiple access points to the entry of the lower level of the Detroit Superior Bridge. 

The mixed-income housing consists of 140 apartments: 40 two-bedroom, 82 one-bedroom, and 18 studio.  The hotel includes 130 guest rooms and a large lobby area that will include a coffee-shop.

On the eastern side of the site, the 11,000+ square feet of park space will create an access point for the entry of the "under bridge" a site that has hosted Ingenuity Fest and other public gatherings celebrating arts and culture.

Bridgeworks location connects it to the 81, 51, and 26 Transit lines and only a few blocks from the Redline.
