• Successful Fusion Magnet Demonstration

CFS in collaboration with MIT demonstrated a successful test of the world’s strongest high temperature superconducting (HTS) magnet, the key technology for a device that will unlock the path to clean commercial fusion energy for the world. CFS is now building the manufacturing facility and capabilities at Devens to support scaling the magnet technology for our fusion proof of concept, net energy device, SPARC, as well as future fusion power plants.
