Hi everyone --
Happy Monday! We just wanted to give you a quick update and ask you to get your neighbors involved with the project. We will be closing the initial comments period on Nov 30 at midnight, and we'll then be analyzing your comments and using that feedback to inform the next round of design decisions. We'll be back in the spring with the results of those findings. We've been over the moon with the feedback we've received so far, but projects like this are strengthened by community support and feedback, so we want to do one more push and encourage you to share the project and this website with your neighbors.
Check out today's Dorchester Reporter for their article on the proposed DotGreenway for the MBTA redline tunnel cap, expanding on the work that has been done tirelessly by Shawmut Gardens volunteers near Shawmut station for almost two decades. We are excited to be working on this project with TLee Development, RODE Architects Inc, OJB Landscape Architecture, and various governmental partners. Please take a moment to share your thoughts and vision for this potential new linear park in our neighborhood at courb.co/dgreenway if you haven't done so already, and share the link with friends and neighbors who might like a chance to chime in. The current initial input survey will remain open until the end of November.
Welcome to our online project for the #DotGreenway! We’re excited to bring together neighbors to develop a vision for this project as we move further into the design and implementation process. Greater Ashmont Main Streets identified the greenway as a long-term goal several years ago. In collaboration with OJB Design, RODE Architects, and T Lee Development, we've created some preliminary concepts and now are excited to share them with you and develop them further into concrete plans.
We're using this page to help you participate in the process and keep you updated on plans and events. Follow the project to receive email notifications about new status updates and visit the Comments section to share your questions, comments, and ideas with us.
