The California Coastal Commission will be hosting virtual hearings across three days, from August 12-14, through video and teleconference. Among a number of other items, the Commission will be reviewing the Fisherman's Wharf project on the first day, August 12, starting at Noon (time is approximate).
You can find the hearing's agenda HERE where you can also submit a 'Speaker Request' to voice support for the project during the proceedings. Our project is listed as item 19 a. on the agenda.
The Coastal Commission will be using the video conferencing service, Zoom, to host the meeting and allow for remote public participation. We appreciate all of the thoughts and ideas being voiced about this proposed project. Overall, we’ve been hearing about the types of public amenities and activities that should be added to Fisherman's Wharf with some highlights being: open air space for live music, outdoor dining like seafood restaurants, and watercraft rentals.
We look forward to continuing to see new input from the community as the project progresses.
