May 11th City Council Presentation

Thank you to the members of Brentwood's City Council, City Staff and members of the public who attended the City Council Meeting May 11th. The presentation represented a synopsis of our preferred plan concept, catalyst site studies and the marketing efforts ahead. After the presentation, we had a robust question and answer session with the Council and received public comment. The meeting ended with the approval of our master plan concept and authorization to move ahead with the final marketing pitch book, strategy and specific plan amendment recommendations.

Virtual Town Hall #3

Thank you to all who attended and commented at our Virtual Town Hall #3. This presentation focused on the development of the preferred master plan and two catalyst sites. These plans will become the foundation of our marketing materials that will then be used to recruit workforce development to the Brentwood community. In the presentation we detail our primary objectives, design principles, public space infrastructure, and visioning of prospective development. It is important to remember however that the plan is flexible! The 3d visualization is meant to demonstrate the potential, but not dictate! We hope you had a chance to attend but if not, please download the slideshow from our link. We will follow up with a link to the video once it is uploaded.

Virtual Town Hall #2:

Thank you to all that attended our Virtual Town Hall #2. The purpose of the second town hall was to introduce four plan master plan concepts for the Innovation Center district's streets and public open spaces. Each concept explores a different approach to the organization of the parcels. In addition to the layout of the public space framework we have also provided conceptual massing for each alternative to demonstrate how the master plans could be built out. These massing plans only suggest the location of buildings and public spaces. They do not suggest architectural character or specific park and plaza designs. It is also important to consider that our massing reflects the economic constraints that will likely require surface parking and lower building heights. The building heights shown are what we believe is likely to be built, but the planning is not restricted to these heights or building placement.

We have provided for your reference our pdf slide show and a video recording of the town hall itself.
