May 11th City Council Meeting Video Posted!




A big thanks to members of the Brentwood City Council and community who attended the May 11th City Council Meeting. We have posted the video of the meeting as well as the PDF Presentation at our Virtual Town Halls tab (Click here). The presentation focused on the preferred plan, catalyst sites, and marketing tasks ahead. City Council approved the Preferred Concept Plan and for our team to commence the marketing strategy. Please join us for this Tuesday's May 11th 7:00 PM virtual City Council Meeting to discuss the approval of the Brentwood Innovation Center master plan concept. With approval of this concept the team will be begin it's effort to develop the marketing strategy and materials for employer recruitment.

In this meeting we will discuss:

  • Illustrative Master Plan
  • Specific Plan Boundary Adjustment
  • Land Uses and Zoning
  • Bike lanes and pedestrian trail network
  • Proposed Circulation Plan 
  • Catalyst Sites 
  • Marketing Strategy
  • Potential impacts to the PA1 Specific Plan

Third Town Hall Meeting Video posted!


A big thanks to members of the Brentwood community who attended our Third Virtual Town Hall Meeting April 21st! We have posted the video of the meeting as well as the PDF Presentation at our Virtual Town Halls tab (Click here). The presentation focused on the preferred plan and catalyst sites that will serve as the foundation of our marketing and recruitment efforts. Next steps for our team include assessing the high level changes for the Brentwood PA1 Specific Plan, developing our marketing strategy and a Joint Planning Commission and City Council Virtual Presentation in May (date t.b.d.). Joint Planning Commission and City Council Meeting Video posted!


A big thanks to members of the Brentwood Planning Commission, City Council and community who attended our joint workshop January, 13th. We have posted the video of the meeting as well as the PDF Presentation and Outreach Report in our Virtual Town Halls tab (Click here) . Next steps for our team include developing plans and renderings for the two catalyst sites (identified at the end of our workshop presentation) that will serve as the foundation for our marketing outreach efforts. We will be hosting a third Virtual Town Hall and a second Joint Planning Commission and City Council to present those plans late spring (date t.b.d.). In this Public Workshop meeting, we will be providing City Council and Planning Commission:

  • Re-cap on research and findings
  • A presentation of the four initial master plan schemes
  • A feedback summary from the community, private stakeholders, outside developers
  • Findings from our conceptual level financial analysis 
  • A lively discussion with all involved

Joint Public City Council and Planning Commission Meeting for the Innovation Center @ Brentwood

Hoffman Strategy Group, our teams development consultant, has prepared a short presentation of case studies for job-centric development here in the U.S. We have added this presentation to our new project website "concepts" tab featuring all of our work thus far. This tab will be continually updated as we further develop the master plan. Don't forget to visit our "feedback" tab as well and let us know your thoughts on the four master plan concepts!

In our Second Virtual Town Hall we explored four master plan concepts for the overall framework of streets and public open spaces. We have provided in our Virtual Town Halls tab a video of the presentation, the pdf slide show itself, and an abridged pdf highlighting the key distinguishing features of each concept.

We would greatly appreciate your feedback on the various concepts and any additional ideas or insight you might have. We have provided a series of multiple choice survey questions for you to answer as well as an open ended question for you to elaborate your thoughts. In this second Town Hall meeting, we will be discussing the public space framework of streets, parks, and plazas and how they can benefit the city and improve Brentwood’s ability to recruit employers. We welcome your feedback and discussion on four plan options that will be presented. Each plan option will test a variety of ideas to help generate discussion and new ideas from the group.
