In addition to supporting Astoria's existing shops and restaurants, what types of new retail and entertainment would you like to see?

It would be great to see more great diverse restaurants. I would also like to see more modern retail stores (not old guard shopping mall stores) and health clinics. I can't wait to see what is in store!

Thanks, Spencer. What kinds of restaurants do you think are lacking? Our plan includes a food hall focused on all of the diverse cuisines that make Astoria so culturally rich. And we agree regarding retail.... Read more...

Food Halls are a terrible idea - - reminds me of a food court in a mall - NOT pleasant places to eat. Couldn't you instead have 2 sides of one of the open courts lined with real restaurants with outdoor... Read more...
