wondering if there is enough parking,, is it at the back?

Hi Gail! Yes - there is parking at the rear of the building for both CPL patrons and residents. There is also a rear entrance.

I wish there was an outdoor reading garden as part of this. :(

We love this idea! We will be sure to let our partners at CPL know there is interest in a reading garden so they can work to try to incorporate this into the library design/programming. Thank you!

What do you like most about the West Eighties neighborhood?

The community has neighbors that help each other. They know everyone. No one made an effort to meet each other when I lived in Chicago.

west 89th is not safe. shootings.. is that how the people have to park and leave building

What does "affordability" mean to you? What do you consider to be a reasonable monthly rent?

When I lived in Section 8 housing in yhe 80's, rent was 1/4 of your income. That would be perfect, but 1/3 is ok, too. It would allso depend on what utilities are included.
