I agree with the majority of responses here, traffic on 28 is impossible between 5:30 am and 10 am. The traffic on Yates Ford, Henderson, Maple Branch and Clifton Rd is impossible from 6am to 10am. I would... Read more...

This project will bring retail and commercial space to the neighborhood. What kinds of businesses would you like to see here?

There are already dozens upon dozens of empty retail space in Manassas and Manassas Park. Too many homes and no traffic structure to support it. My commute to drive 17 - 24 miles to Fairfax depending on... Read more...

Stanley Martin...pay the owners for the development value of the property. Donate the property back to the county with a deed restriction that it can't be developed-agriculture only. Rebuild the barns... Read more...

Excellent idea -- I was thinking the other day that I wish some entrepeneur farmer would buy the land and do something really creative with it.

The land has not had a working farm since 1989 when the County took half of it to make a highway. Farm machinery cannot get out onto the road. Talk about slowing commuters down!

And yet, somehow, someone has managed to plant the fields there most -- if not all - of the years since 1989. It is planted this year, again.

None, can we not have wooded areas and farm land anymore? More housed, people, congestion, traffic lights, is the last thing we need. How about build us better roads and transit options to DC?

Across the street they are already building more retail and housing we don't need any more on this side of the parkway

Good point. Office versus retail would be a great idea. There's so much on Liberia Avenue that we don't really need anything else

Thanks for the comments Dave. I would offer the following: The County has grown and will continue to grow. As you may have seen in the news, the Micro expansion in Manassas is going to create 1,100 full... Read more...

There are townhouses (attached homes) all over this town. I would like to see more new developments with single family homes on half acre or larger lots.

Thank you for taking the time to comment Lisa. In addition to the commercial and public use spaces, this community will include single family detached homes, townhouses, and stacked townhouse condos.... Read more...

This project provides for a lot of road improvements that otherwise will not be funded. It is a well thought out design that incorporates many desirable community features.

I agree - what about a park, and i don't mean a sports field, but a park where everyone, not just the homes you plan on building; can use.

There are no benefits. You are not listening. We do not want additional houses or retail in this area. It's already overdeveloped. You have no idea what traffic is like in that area. Any additional... Read more...

Designated Land for Building an Elementary School

It is a huge benefit to all citizens of PWC to have land donated for school and recreation use.

I really like what I see regarding the road improvements. I have seen a simulation of the improved traffic flow once the entire development is completed and it is much better than it is now. Great to see.

Now, I 'm not saying the simulations can't possibly be 100% accurate, but I think they're probably based on current traffic - along with the new trips the development expects to add. I doubt they're adding... Read more...
