Come to Mary Ellen McCormack Unity Day - Sat. August 3rd, Sterling Square

Join the fun and meet your neighbors. Pony Rides, Petting Zoo and more!

12PM to 4PM this Saturday, August 3rd in Sterling Square.

Thanks for meeting with us! What’s next?

Thank you to everyone who came out to the resident meetings last Wednesday. If you missed the event, don’t worry, you can view the presentation slides from the meeting in the Info and Plans section of our site.

To recap, during the meeting we presented on the proposed site plan, Phase 1 and next steps/ timeline. For those concerned about moving and relocation, please remember that any household requiring temporary relocation will be given at a minimum, twelve months notice. We hope to begin construction on the first Building in early 2021. This Building requires no relocation.

It was great to see the turnout at the meeting. We really appreciate the community's focus on making sure this redevelopment creates a safe and accessible space for residents and neighbors. We'll be continuing office hours (Task Force Building - 345 Old Colony, Tues 1-7PM, Thurs 8AM-2PM) and resident meetings through the next few months to make sure we're considering all of your feedback as we progress.

Please also continue to share your feedback and questions in the comments section. Thanks!

We hear you!

We appreciate those of you who have been voicing your thoughts and ideas. We are working hard with our partners at the Boston Housing Authority to finalize the proposed site plan and move forward with the redevelopment. We hope to have a Community Meeting later this spring to open up room for in-person discussion and feedback.

Thank you again for participating and sharing your input and questions. We’ll follow up with more updates as soon as we can. In the meantime, please visit our comments section.
