Update #3

Community Design Open Houses - Wednesday October 24 and Saturday October 27

Please join us for discussion about the future of the Midtown block and for an update on the project!

https://bit.ly/2ygXBZJ

Learn and Discuss:

  • Community Connection (Public Art and Retail Space Opportunities)
  • Architectural Character (How can the building reflect the rich culture and history of our Central District community?)
  • Placemaking (Placemaking opportunities throughout the project, focusing on street level public spaces and the significant corner at 23rd and Union)

Building on the momentum of the design review process earlier this year and the Africatown design ciphers, this event will explore community opportunities at the Midtown project site.

Location:

Midtown - Carpapapa (the old post office space)

1110 23rd Avenue

Seattle, WA 98122

Wednesday, October 24 6pm - 8pm

and

Saturday, October 27 11am - 2pm

Free and open to all. Food will be served. Please come and share your thoughts about the future of the Midtown block!
