What's in the Works
Royal Crest reimagined. Situated next to Merrimack College, the project will mix retail with living and workspaces, creating an enduring, walkable open-air and sustainable multi-use development centered around energized public spaces where the North Andover community can gather and make memories.
Working with Elkus Manfredi Architects, we carefully redesigned the existing Royal Crest Estates Apartments property. To utilize land for open space and a greenway walking path, and to preserve wetlands, we locate the residential properties closer together, creating a more walkable, pedestrian-friendly environment. The residential component will create homeownership and rental opportunities for young families and active adults who want to remain in the community.
When designing the multifamily and commercial buildings, the team situated them along Rt. 114 and provides safe and improved walking paths to connect Merrimack College with the surrounding retail while offering a new town green for the entire community. The improvements will activate and make Rt. 114 much safer.
The project includes extensive amenities providing a vibrant neighborhood within its 76 acres. Revitalized and reimagined public outdoor spaces will mix seamlessly with exciting new retail establishments and restaurants, and amenities creating a true live, work, play environment. The site is just 3-miles away from the Andover Train Station.
