OCI staff hung out at the Orchard STEM back to school event and passed out info about the study. We also spoke directly with kids and parents about their safety concerns when moving around in the neighborhood. Participants were entered into a raffle to win Guardians tickets or a prize basket.
Angie Schmitt led a walk around the neighborhood with a small focus group of folks who are currently experiencing insecure housing conditions.
The mobility study team set up at Platform Beer Co. during the community meeting and allowed participants to give their feedback in person.
The Mobility Study team set up shop at Market Square Park to hear feedback from those attending Ohio City Improvement Corporation's Resource Fair. Feedback was given using physicals maps and sticky tacks, and will be translated to the Co-Map page. This event allowed the team to receive feedback and hear issues from members of the insecurely housed community and those who may be in need of special assistance when getting around the neighborhood, as well as many transit riders. RTA Passes were given to all those that participated.
