It would be nice if the playground was inclusive for kids in wheelchairs. The City is making great strides with inclusion but needs to include our children that do not get included in the Cities recreation... Read more...

FYI- the City just added some wheelchair-accessible playground elements right across the River at the Moody School playground, which is open to the public during non-school hours.

Have you used the Bradford Rail Trail? How might this trail be improved or expanded to enhance its use and connectivity to the neighborhood and the Downtown Haverhill area.

Yes, I’ve walked it several times with my toddler. It definitely needs to feel safer - better lighting, large parking areas and better access points. It feels extra creepy to have to go behind a liquor... Read more...

Have you used the Bradford Rail Trail? How might this trail be improved or expanded to enhance its use and connectivity to the neighborhood and the Downtown Haverhill area.

Path should continue under the bridges along the river to the new development. Lighting and cameras for security.

Hi Tomba, our current plan includes connectivity to the bridge as well as the existing rail trail and will certainly include ample lighting throughout!

Make sure that they're dog friendly. I take my Golden Retriever to the little park behind the parking area on Washington Street. We need bigger, cleaner and well kept after places to take dogs.

A skatepark could definitely help the area the one in Haverhill at cashmen park is small and doesn’t have any ramps it would be nice to do something for the community with input from local riders.

I’m hoping that the park will be bicyclist-friendly, especially with it being perfectly aligned with the rail trail. Maybe there could also be a small area for skateboarding? Thatd be pretty cool.
