Thank you for engaging with us through the CoUrbanize platform and adding your voice to influence our plan for The Beck. After months of suggestions and survey feedback, we're wrapping up online outreach for this project today. This is the last you'll hear from us here on our CoUrbanize page. Comments are now closed, but the page will remain up for record-keeping purposes.

Thank you all for the insightful input and ideas you’ve shared with us so far.
We are excited to announce that we have now received the approval from City Council for the project's special permit with an 8-1 vote!
Thanks to all of you, we've been able to take your feedback and use it to make the public park truly something that is designed by YOU!
For more information about the outcome of the special permit hearing, view the WHAV article here.
Your participation during this process has been more than helpful. Please continue to share your feedback and questions in the Feedback section.
The Procopio Companies
Thank you for all your continued interest and feedback as we have moved forward with shaping the plans for The Beck. We’d like to ask for your support to encourage Haverhill’s City Councilors to approve the project.
To demonstrate your support, you can sign and submit a letter of support here. You can also visit Haverhill Speaks, where you can share a direct comment with City Council. Voicing your support only takes a few seconds, and it’s the most impactful thing you can do to make The Beck a reality!
If you’re available to attend, the City Council will be meeting on Tuesday, May 25th at 7pm to vote on the project at City Hall in Room 202, located at 4 Summer Street. You can also comment during the meeting by calling the City Council office number: 978.374.2328. We’d love to have you join us!
Thanks again for your participation!
The Procopio Team
The Beck team is grateful for your continued feedback and comments through CoUrbanize. On May 17, 2021, from 5:30-7:00pm EST, we plan to hold a community meeting, which will allow us to give a more extensive presentation on the project, and will allow the community to ask questions and provide additional feedback. The event will take place in-person at 90 Washington Street in downtown Haverhill on the third floor of the building. Paid street parking, and a paid parking lot at the rear of the property, are available for use.
As this will be an indoor event, it will be in compliance with COVID guidelines, including social distancing, limited capacity, and required masks.
We look forward to seeing you there!
The Beck Team
We appreciate all the feedback provided by the community as we have continued with the planning process. We have updated the questions in the feedback section, and encourage continued comments.
You’ll see that we have updated the project drawings with new concepts to develop only two buildings, allowing us to increase the size of the park and trails accessible to the public. We've also selected an official name for the project - The Beck. As we move forward and continue to finalize our concept plans, we are looking forward to sharing additional renderings and insights with the community. In the coming days and weeks, we’ll also be sharing a time for a community meeting, so be sure you subscribe for timeline updates on the project moving forward!
Thank you to all community members who have provided us with feedback on safety, accessibility, park amenities, and retail space recommendations at our upcoming Railroad Avenue project! As we work to finalize the development plan in the coming months, we will continue to review and respond to your comments. We welcome your continued suggestions, which can be shared in our feedback section.
As a reminder, don’t forget to subscribe to ensure you receive all project updates moving forward. Thanks again for your continued engagement!
