Thank you for engaging with us through the CoUrbanize platform and adding your voice to the South Orange Master Plan. After months of feedback and suggestions, we're wrapping up online outreach for this project today. Comments are now closed, but the page will remain up for record-keeping purposes.
The project will be moving into outreach for specific elements that will include: Land Use, Civic Life, Recreation + Open Space, Community Form + Design, Mobility, Historic Preservation, and Health + Sustainability. Expect to see further Updates on these in the summer.

The Village Colonials will be hosting a neighborhood listening session at the same time (7pm) at the South Orange Elks Club.

Hello Everyone!
Thank you for all the insightful feedback you shared with us over the last few months! Thanks to you we have accomplished so much:
- Held 22 outreach events across various neighborhoods and among several different boards and commissions that have engaged approximately 150 individuals in conversations about the Master Plan.
- Received feedback from almost 120 individuals on this survey platform and seen some wonderful dialogue blossom on several different topics.
In the coming months, we’ll be turning our attention to using your feedback to inform the goals and objectives of the Master Plan. In the meantime, keep the conversation going here on CoUrbanize! We’ve posted new survey questions and you can still give us your thoughts on the questions featured on the map tab.
