Would you be excited for this project to pay tribute to the local history and culture of Readville and Hyde Park?

I think Readville is underappreciated, and anything that celebrates its history would be great.

Thad - thanks for your reply! We'll be collecting ideas as to how we can best do this, and will post them over the coming months and present them to the community at future meetings.

Any other suggestions or questions about the project?

The aesthetics of the building are key. A classic factory design is cool but let’s keep on the antique motif that aligns with the likes of westing house.

Any other thoughts/suggestions for the restaurant space?

A brewup/ live music venue combination area. Outside patio similar to what Jake and Joe's has in Waltham: fireside seating, televisions for games.

We are working hard at this and have had multiple conversations with MBTA officials. We have been told that low ridership is the reason for the low frequency of stops at Readville Station, and believe... Read more...

Hi Xhu - we've heard that request from a lot of people, and we're hoping to incorporate live music into our restaurant - something there isn't a lot of in the area today!

Hi Scott - thanks for your comment. We're hoping not only to have fishing at the pond, but to make some improvements in the quality of the water in the pond as well....which will certainly help with the... Read more...

Traffic? How is that going to be addressed. It is already a nightmare.

A shocking amount of traffic travels on Sprague St. I'm sure there are plenty of comments about the traffic throughout, but something does need to be done about Sprague St/Milton St/Hyde Park Ave.

Hi Becca - no question about the amount of traffic in the area. Unfortunately, the already significant traffic in the area has been exacerbated by way-finding apps like Waze that direct traffic off highways... Read more...

I think it's only fair that a traffic solution needs to be provided prior to breaking ground. This is the most important element of the development.

Which pondside amenity is most important to you?

A children's play area!
