    The City is seeking to hire an architectural firm to design an estimated $1.2 million project for major improvements at Stearns Square in downtown Springfield and the nearby Duryea Way. The architect will design a project that includes "full-depth reconstruction and replacement of all park and pedestrian way materials including landscaping, plantings, pavers, curbing, pavement, replacement/upgrades of street furniture, bike racks and lighting.
