A Growing Springfield Food Scene
Strong locally roasted coffee & a commercial kitchen space for aspiring entrepreneurs are two things Springfield currently doesn't have. However, the founders of Ground Up Cafe are planning to change that in a matter of months. Ground Up Cafe has launched their kickstarter to raise a final $10,000 before August 10th to open their new space on Bridge Street. The more they raise, the quicker they can open their affordable, shared commercial kitchen space for local entrepreneurs to launch their food businesses. They need your help! #10KbyAug10 #groundup413
And did you hear about Bueno y Sano's new pop-up burrito bar located at 1550 Main Street on Fridays this summer? Don't miss it! And while you're at it, you can enjoy the lunchtime concert and stop by the great farmers market across the street. Hey now, downtown Springfield!
Oh and don't forget about our friends over at SnapChef. They have partnered with New England Farm Workers to launch a Springfield Culinary Workforce Development, Event & Incubator Center at 1600 Main Street.
Talk about a comprehensive approach! Expanded food offerings, food entrepreneurship opportunities & food jobs. #springfieldma #fullcourtpress #makingithappen
