What's in the Works
The Sunnydale HOPE SF Project is about transforming the Sunnydale-Velasco public housing community into a vibrant and healthy mixed-income neighborhood in which all residents thrive. Sunnydale is 50 acres and home to more than 1,700 residents.
Block 3 will be the third and fourth new residential developments following Parcel Q (newly named Casala) and Block 6. Block 3 will be built in phases with approximately 170 affordable units, an early childhood education center, a health and wellness center, and commercial/retail opportunities on the ground floor being planned.
The full build-out of the Sunnydale Hope SF master plan will include 775 replacement units for current Sunnydale residents, 200 additional affordable units, 700 market rate (unsubsidized) housing units, 60,000 square feet... Read more...
