500 Talbot Ave, LLC is pleased to share our redevelopment vision for the property at the split between Talbot Avenue and Argyle Street in the Ashmont Section of Dorchester. The site is conveniently located a short walking distance from the Shawmut and Ashmont T stops, as well as a future greenway that will run between them. We are proposing a mixed-use building with 40 residential units and 23 garage parking spaces. In addition, the first floor of the building will include two commercial/retail spaces totaling approximately 2,000 sq. ft. each.

The current design contemplates the existing occupant of the property, The New England Synod of the Evangelical Lutheran Church, will occupy one of the commercial spaces located along Talbot Avenue. The other retail/commercial space is located on the prominent front of the building at the intersection of Talbot Avenue and Argyle Street adjacent to the outdoor patio space. As part of this community outreach process, we would like to gain feedback from the neighborhood to determine what other uses might be suitable for this very prominent retail/commercial space.
