The development team for the 500 Talbot Avenue project will be presenting to the BPDA Board tomorrow, Thursday, November 15, 2018. This mixed-use development is an Article 80 Small Project, which means the Board does not take any public testimony at the hearing. BPDA held a public meeting in October and accepted community input/comments from the public during the comment period.
We look forward to continuing the conversation online and keeping the community updated on the next steps for the project. If you have any further comments or questions, please post them here.
Thanks to everyone who joined us for the Public Meeting hosted by BPDA on October 2nd where we presented the latest plans and discussed the next steps for the project. It was a pleasure to share our proposal with the community and hear your comments.

Please come and join us for an update presentation for the current design and plans for 500 Talbot Avenue. The meeting will be held in the basement of the Church. The entrance is on the Argyle Street side of the Church.
Don't forget to answer all 4 new survey questions we designed to get feedback on the future Brick & Mortar community space!
We encourage you to share the project website (courb.co/talbot) with neighbors, so we can build a community vision for an active and inclusive space.
The 500 Talbot Team
Thanks for all the suggestions about new retail in the future 500 Talbot Ave! You're helping to shape that space.
We're not done asking for feedback yet! Next door to the retail space, the church that formerly occupied the land will operate a new community space called Bricks & Mortar. With the exception of Sunday services, the space won't be a church — it will be a multipurpose space for the entire Dorchester community.
What would bring you there most often — a coffeeshop, a coworking space, maybe yoga or art classes?
Answer our new survey questions!
