Valor is hard at work on the redevelopment of the old Superfresh grocery store site at 4330 48th St NW. Plans call for a two-building, mixed-use project that will bring back a full-service grocer to an underserved neighborhood. The project includes thoughtfully designed apartments and condominiums, 22 units of which will be designated affordable.

What's There Now
For more than three years, the grocery store at 4330 48th St. NW has sat vacant. With a vast surface parking lot, the site is nothing more than an eye sore. Valor Development plans to reintroduce a much-needed full-service grocer to the site. The project will reactivate a long neglected commercial block with a beautiful, engaging development promoting pedestrian connectivity through the block to Massachusetts Avenue.
What's Happening Next
Valor is in the process of soliciting neighborhood input for our plan through Advisory Neighborhood Commission 3E before asking for a final vote of support in December 2017.
