What's in the Works



Alexandria Real Estate Equities is transforming the site at 1100 Rancho Conejo into a vibrant new life sciences campus. The proposed Thousand Oaks project will create two-story lab and office space, add a new fitness facility, and create new open green spaces.

Sustainability Goals



We are aiming for LEED and Fitwel certification for the project. Our goal is to reduce outdoor potable water consumption with efficient landscaping irrigation. We also aim to reduce indoor potable water consumption below UPC baseline standards. Preferred parking will be provided for carpool and green vehicles, and electric vehicle charging stations will be installed in the parking lot.

Preserving Trees on the Site



ARE is committed to preserving nature and the natural beauty of the site. We are working to ensure as many of the beautiful trees on the site will remain, as well as planting more as part of our landscape design.
