Get Involved
Womanhood is a county-wide project and we want your help in sharing which women and groups we should honor and imagining where and how women's public art recognition projects can exist in the region!
We encourage you to pin your feedback on the Womanhood coUrbanize map but also want to offer different and accessible means for participation.
For 2022:
- We are hosting focus groups and workshops to gather feedback from diverse communities.
- We are launching our pop-up community engagement tour at community events and gathering spaces in your city.
- We are posting new prompts and means of participation online and through social media.
- We are accepting feedback through text and/or voicemail in your language to be later translated onto the Womanhood coUrbanize map!
We need your support in order to invest in temporary and permanent public art that pays tribute to the contributions of women of diverse intersectional identities as a source of learning and inspiration for generations to come.

Text or Leave a Voicemail
How would you like to see women recognized for their work in Santa Clara County?
Let us know by texting or leaving a voicemail to the assigned number for your district below. Participants are welcome to answer the above prompt via text or by leaving a voice message in English or in their own language. When messages are received, coUrbanize will review them under their community guidelines and will then translate them onto the Womanhood coUrbanize map as a pin!
Womanhood is exploring permanent interactive public artworks in at least six locations throughout the County. Temporary public artworks will be created to help further conversation and inspiration around a framework for permanent public artwork. Please communicate your feedback to the appropriate phone number to leave feedback for specific districts and cities in Santa Clara County. You can leave a pin in a specific location on the Womanhood coUrbanize map.
