Gathering place for motorcycle gangs playing loud music, revving their engines and doing wheelies in the street, also cars playing loud music with windows open. The noise pollution on any day when the temperature is over 60 is horrendous. Also attracts vehicles looking to use toilet in gas station such as the party bus last year and the horrendous shooting.

The canopy of the existing gas station is an amazing design by George Terp. The canopy was made in a steel mill on the south side and moved by barge to this location. It would make a great shade structure for a pocket park. Or perhaps it could be moved into Lincoln Park across the street and reused as a picnic shelter.
