Definitely expand what we have but keep the facade. Our branch deserves a well thought-out plan for the future.

The Tudor architecture of the present structure is a beautiful, elegant nod to the history of the neighborhood. It would be excellent to find a way to incorporate that structure with a new building, that reflects the present needs of technology, maker space, and current community needs, and anticipates the future.

Do not cover, change, or demolish the Tudor style that is especially visible on Lorain and W. 157th!!! It is such a beautiful facade and would be horrible to detract from it. Any exterior alterations should be kept to the rear (Silsby/parking lot side) of the building to maintain its historic integrity.

I’m beginning to hear about renovations to the Westpark branch public library. The Tudor style front and side is a treasure. Please preserve that historic facade. I have visited many times and the interior and back entrance with all that brick could use renovation. Please preserve the character and charm of the historical architecture of the front and side. It is a wonderful institution in our Kamm’s community. A huge draw for me to not uproot and go to the suburbs is the unique character and diversity of Cleveland.
