Love the idea, there is so much road there and it could get used for something different. One lane in each direction and then use the land for something else

There's a lot of surface road here that goes nowhere - are there ways to reclaim this land for a different purpose?

Wish list item: Would love to see a kayak area setup along the river front. Many nice areas of the river in the city, but this would make an ideal drop point.

I'd love something like that too Would a location like here work or would something just north of Granite Street and south of the Foundry? I think it's called Loeb park there?
Check out something we could do there, a paddle share with some kayaks in a some lockers.

Walking to Gateway Park is not very enjoyable. If the park was beautified with public gardens and picnic tables it would make it more of a walking destination for people on lunch break. This would be especially true if the pedestrian bridge here gets funding. The circular sandbox that is there currently there now could easily be improved. There is also already a parking lot there, which food trucks could park at. Think of Prescott Park in Portsmouth as an example.
