I wonder if you are considering an on-site day care for faculty, students, staff. What a huge stress-reliever that would be for your community.

I think the only thing I'm worried about is traffic. It can already be difficult during commuting times to get onto Veranda, the increased population will make this more frustrating. I'm really excited to have a lively neighborhood center with shopping, apartments, small business, classes. I think it will do good things for property values and hopefully cause increased demand for existing apartments so landlords will take better care of the existing buildings.

26 years - I love how close we are to the highway and intown Portland but still feel like a neighborhood. The deadend streets are great for kids and pets. It's an easy walk to places to enjoy the outdoors, the bay and Mackworth are great. It's not too expensive to take a cab/Uber for dinner or events in town. It's a great neighborhood.
