How about a pledge to NOT cut down woods or drain wetlands , which are disappearing throughout the county at an alarming rate. This is insanity in the face of climate change. How about a pledge NOT to ask for rezoning from AR-1 to MR-RPC. What is the plan for keeping the estimated 32,000 plus vehicles per weekday off the already overcrowded roads, especially Route 9? Traffic is already frequently backing up from the Vineyard to Five Points.

I think it should be done in a different location, Hudson road is already too flooded and so is Route 9. Gravel Hill area was spoken of and I think that was a better choice but anything taking more farmland away is a bad idea. Also, anything near Cool Spring should be reconsidered due to the crime.

Helen, if you want to go to festivals, performances and seasonal calendar of events, them go to Hudson Fields, which is off of route 1. We do not need another venue like that here.

We don't need a more sophisticated look. What we need is the farmland that has been lost. If you want a peaceful area you missed it. The area 40 years ago was absolutely beautiful. Farmland and lovely waterways not a lot of people. It was a good place to raise a family. We had very little crime back then. I think if you need all the fancy restaurants and sophistication go back to where you came from. There are more people here that enjoy going to Royal Farms than know.
What I truly hate is the fact that people move here for the small town atmosphere and then promptly try to change it to what they came from.
A piece of Sussex County wisdom. We really don't care how you did it back where you came from.

You have already told me enough for me to say DO NOT DESTROY ANYMORE LAND OR ANIMAL HABITATS FOR YOUR MONETARY GAIN. Not to mention the over 32,000 trips a day on small roads leading to our waterways.
I do not approve of your project and will do whatever I can to obstruct your greedy goals. You’d bring us together to stand against you.

I would like to know where the "32,293 vehicle trips on an average weekday" are supposed to go on those little country farm roads that were never designed for this kind of traffic. And what happens on weekends and in the summer? This is pure insanity!

We are happy with the way it is. Do not turn our non crowded community into an over crowded place. We already know one another and have plenty of interaction. Keep your non essential development up north. We need and must have a place to escape and enjoy the wide open space lower Delaware offers. Leave my childhood community alone! Thank you!

What about schools that are already overcrowded? What about Fire Stations… and Sussex County already has a shortage of firefighters? Are you planning on helping with recruitment? And, of course, the roads that are overcrowded. God forbid that there is an event that would require an evacuation, how would all of the cars find a safe pathway out of here. Sure, having the convenience of living in a community with everything you could possibly need without leaving your compound is fine, but what about when you want to get out? INFRASTRUCTURE RESOLUTION AND EMERGENCY SERVICES FIRST!

Please DO NOT allow Carl Freeman to build yet another development in eastern Sussex. Our infrastructure is inadequate to support this. In addition, ur wildlife is impacted negatively by the destruction of their habitat. NO! NO! NO!

I agree with Mr. Kerr. We do not need more housing especially off of cool spring and log cabin hill road. The amount of traffic on Hudson road has increased substantially as it is. Let alone destroying the wild life’s habitat. Why don’t you take your greedy building ideas to Western Sussex. Way too much development in eastern Sussex. Enough is enough!!!
No, you have a history of altering infrastructure to support your own motives and not listening to the residents of the county and state who speak out in opposition
