I’m going to assume the comment about “condemnation” was for my previous comment that was censored. I don’t see how my comment was elcusivist at all. I have a question. Do you think current residents see projects like this going up in their neighborhood, with 4 affordable units and feel included? I think projects like this exclude a class of people- many people that have lived here for years. I am not understanding why certain comments are deemed more appropriate than others. However, I agree w the other comments that the number of affordable units seems insufficient for this area. This type of feedback should’ve been anticipated more than anything else.

Thank you Shannon. I agree. 4 "affordable' units is insufficient with all the luxury low bedroom units pushing working and lower income families out of the neighborhood they have lived in for years. Green ways are great but so is respecting the families who have held these neighborhoods together before every corner of Dorchester is becoming South Boston and the Seaport without parking and with price tags that keep working families out.

This project needs a LOT more affordable units. We do not need an unaffordable building going up on Talbot Ave. There has to be income statistics. The current residents should be able to afford to live here.
