More native plant corridors to provide nesting and food for birds and wildlife. Slower traffic and darker skies. Please only dark skies lighting.

I really have to say that I dislike such a large hotel on the campus mostly due to the visual impact on the the skyline, the approach from the north on 295 and on the east end of The peninsula.
I can see the need for some short term lodging but certainly not the size tower that you are planning.

We already have to deal with the noise from 295 traffic, so the addition of more cars would not help. We need more open green space.

One Climate Future, Portland and South Portland's Climate Action Plan, sets aggressive goals for limiting greenhouse gas emissions by the year 2050. In Portland over 60% of our carbon emissions are from buildings, both residential, commercial and institutional. It would be expected that such a renowned, world famous institution would be a net-zero energy facility. Portland's Sustainability Office would be a great resource to make this goal achievable.

I am sure your engineers know what they are doing but underground parking near the flood plain with sea level rise seems very dicey.

Totally agree that public transportation must be robust.
