The site should be climate friendly with a large solar system and batteries (MCE will fund the batteries). Solar could be on the roofs or land.

I would hope some land could be set aside for the residents to have their own food gardens - a plot for each resident like in Europe. Or they could do coop plots.

A safe Walking and running path along the creek that preserves residents’ privacy. Path could include bicycle path that connects to road to Petaluma.

I hope for an integrated neighborhood that demonstrates the interconnectedness of people and place. Best Practices that allow the people in our community to learn more about resiliency, sustainable practices and well-being. It would be ideal for the town of Pt Reyes Station to have a new neighborhood that had some features that do not yet exist in the Pt Reyes Station that made it special to come into the neighborhood to partake: Tennis Court, Swimming Pool, Skate Park, Community Kitchen, Recreation Center and outdoor venue for music or community activities. It would be ideal for the new neighborhood to complement and enhance the larger town of PRSTa. by being able to model for the new neighborhood and the larger community how to show up for our community partners who work for the benefit of the entire community. I hope for an integrated, inclusive and sustainable town or hub area with strong systems in place that will be benefit, integrate and engage existing community partners-school, radio, youth center, senior center, community center, resource center into the new neighborhood for special activities, services and programs. Access to resources inside of new neighborhood, may be one place that we as a larger community can come together and begin to develop cohesion that begins a clustering of our interests, values and people as the larger PRSTa. community learns to support one another from both outside of the neighborhood as well as inside of the neighborhood together.

a running trail with stops along the way to do push ups, pull ups or sit ups.... a place for biking that coordinates with Marin Bike paths. safe spaces to do outdoor talking circles and meetings. Places where we learn about the natural environment and how to preserve and protect the limited resources we have. It would be ideal to water refill stations, citizen science sites that are being monitored by community partners including Tomales Bay Watershed Council, NMWD and/or EAC. Places where youth and senior felt they could do some of the work to capture data that tells us how well we are managing and protecting our limited resources. Places to sit, places to walk, bike and run without competing with traffic. Places where people could gather outdoors without having to pay money. Projects that helped keep the CLAM neighborhood clean-Green Team Project and Sunrise Hub and/or WMClimate Action. Places where exchanges could happen for extra food and/or items like clothing/furniture and or equipment.
