So glad this project is coming back to life. I agree that local non-profits would and should benefit from a co-working space, as well as working artists. These are two important segments of our community that are currently priced out and need a home.

I'd like to echo what's been said about retaining and supporting our artistic community by providing affordable- and I mean really affordable- work spaces.

Keep the large open and high ceiling space for flexible use, provide studios and/or maker space with shared tools and equipment.

I would like to see more drawings for each proposition. I think #4 would be interesting in high density urban setting. But #2 seems more agreable with its enclosed little decks.

Above All, the issue of offering affordable workspace for Artists (I call them the makers whatever form of expression is used) should be prioritized. Cambridge is loosing its population of makers since a while due to gentrification and the Foundry could contribute space to improve slightly this situation.
