In today's edition of La Presse, there is an article: Protection des milieux naturels « Fin de la récréation » dans le Grand Montréal . https://www.lapresse.ca/actualites/environnement/2022-04-01/protection-des-milieux-naturels/fin-de-la-recreation-dans-le-grand-montreal.php Seeing how the tide is changing with regards to natural spaces and development, what are you prepared to do to save the forest on your property? It is full of rare and unique plants and tree species, as well as the brown snake, vernal ponds and red-backed salamander. The trees you hope to plant in your plaza will never come close to having the highly sophisticated and intricate biodiversity that already exists on your property. If you cut down the forest, you will lose not only a priceless ecosystem, but access to nature for everyone, a place to live for wildlife and a buffer from the noise of the highway and the REM for locals. Consider modernizing your thinking and recognize that natural spaces aren't disposable.

There is a public space above the 40, it is Hermitage Park. It can hold many different types of activities, it is publicly owned and doesn't plan to build highrise apartments of around 25 floors.

Lors de la présentation ils ont répété à plusieurs reprises que les résidences seraient au prix du marché. Aucun engagement pour des logements sociaux ou à des prix abordables... :(
