I've been living in kendall 15 years. Bring in CVS. Water stations. Bike pump that works, unlike the city's $2000 non-working ones at CIC, Inman square, central square. Make it pretty, don't add yet another ugly glass-and-steel building like the new Akamai or the ones on Third st. I know they're cheap and cookie cutter, and fast to build. Most purple won't care about the eyesores they are. But think Paris, think High St USA, think Inman square, union square. Think not Third Street. Not everything has to be about money. You're going to make plenty, don't worry. Build in areas for outdoor seating for cafes. Allow cheap food places. No overpriced farmers' markets.

People on the street don't use the roof garden. They didn't know the big one existed, not the smaller one after the previous one was gutted.
