Or just open up the Hess property to ease the Gridlock from Morningside, alot of parents could park there while picking up students instead of Burbank.

I have seen this as a problem for the traffic. In the morning I am usually behind a school bus leaving Morningside. If traffic is stopped at the red light headed toward First St the bus has a very hard time turning. One day the traffic had to back up just so the bus could still turn on our green light, yet it could not get past the post without hitting it. I have also seen trucks have the same issue.

Like the bright eye level lights on North st. at the crosswalks, A horrible idea, more reasons for pedestrians to walk out into traffic while giving drivers less time to react.

I do like the concept of providing additional pedestrian safety, however, what I am also reading in the same sentence is ‘narrow the roadway’. This is a concern to me because there are large vehicles traveling along this roadway, specifically delivering goods, perhaps to the large retail, grocery and big box stores. The particular intersection of Tyler and Pine/Cherry, prohibits larger vehicles (school buses and delivery cabs, perhaps) from entering Tyler from Pine/Cherry. Am I incorrect in my assessment of this? Is it possible to divert the larger vehicles to another parallel roadway?
