As a previous resident of the peninsula, I have always felt there needs to be some better draw for young urban families. Maybe designating some areas of the peninsula as "family friendly zones". These areas could be used to host slower speed limits (or speed bumps), more green space and playgrounds, mixed among high density areas. I realize we have access to places like Rainbow park and queen square but having a more focused approach on pulling families into the core would be nice.

We need to find a good use and an investor for the former Bargain Store at the head of King Street. It's a huge space in the centre of town that's sitting vacant.

This is a prime entrance to the uptown if you're coming from the highway. The corner is run down and this block of uptown feels forgotten about

Love to see Grannan Lane and parts of Canterbury made into a pedestrian walking street in the summer. Turn the parking lot beside Thandi's in a temporary community space with benches, planters, tables, etc. Also some kind of grand entrance you walk through that you know you're now in the area. Similar to what the buskers do in the summer with the entrance to the boardwalk. Let's celebrate our unique spaces!

We should promote this park more, it's a world class facility in a very unique location.
