Judge Chatman was an amazing woman and we are happy that her legacy continues through Building Peaceful Families and the Red Power Divas.

I would like to see women in Santa Clara county recognize by simply awarding them. A simple gift card or recognition certificate would be great. I would like the women to be recognized in our community I live in D3 and there’s two individual strong young women I’ve talked to for a year now and the vizzion they have for the community is amazing. I honestly don’t know there actual names but they’re the organizers of San Jose Makers (Sj.makers)

I love this idea! Quilts can be symbols of stability and family, they are a great representation of the domestic tasks women have played overtime and the foundational structures they have provided because of that. We can use them to represent womanhood and a shared history.

There is a lot of development for apartments going up across from the Great Mall and VTA station. It would be nice to designate a park / gathering area of some sort in this area so that people can be in community with each other. Perhaps use the spaces to dedicate it to women who made contributions to Milpitas and other parts of district 3.

That's a great idea! Airports are such a great location for public art due to the foot traffic they see on a daily basis.

I want to see more informational signs around the county that teach about the women who had an impact in that area, or if a building/park/street is named after a woman and why.
