I am pleased to see this effort undertaken. Vicksburg Square is an important element of Deven’s redevelopment. The fact that these buildings have sat empty for so long is a clear indication of the need to change the zoning to attract new uses for the buildings.
Hi Jessica, thanks for identifying this area of confusion. The phrase "commercial uses" as used here is too broad and I will change it in subsequent presentations and documents. We are not proposing to allow retail uses on this site. The additional use categories we are proposing for this portion of Grant Road are as follows: Full Office, Small-Scale Office, Light Industrial with Environmental Component, All Other Light Industrial, R&D with Environmental Component, All Other Research & Development, Academic/Institutional/Civic, Municipal Uses, and Incubator.
