This all sounds great! Love the idea of lighting the smoke stack and other historic architectural features. Lighting the waterfall and the canals, also! Would love to see more murals and public art downtown. There are lots of huge blank brick walls to utilize!

The canals are an incredible untapped resource in this community. There is also a deep connection to our history. The canal should utilized and showcased. There is excessive fencing around the canal that blocks the beauty of the water and access. I would love to see walking paths along the canals with benches, trees. Essentially a narrow park. In the summer, boat access. In the winter, skating. Perhaps a winter festival type thing including a skating race! With the hockey culture strong in Lewiston I bet so many families would get involved. Better and warm lighting, and a sculpture walk would be awesome!
