I disagree. PW Parkway can absolutely handle the traffic. It’s the timing of the traffic lights that could be better. This area does bring in shoppers (Ikea, Apple, Wegmans Cheesecake Factory) when the right kind of stores are part of the plan. The proposal is a town center, not a strip mall.

Buchanan Partners, in developments as such where 145 acres is involved, what do big developers such as your company do for wildlife? Specifically, deer that live in this land? Do you guys relocate, or just let them fend for themselves by pushing them toward residential areas?

I am very excited for the development! Everyone is complaining about traffic but there will always be traffic EVERYWHERE around here. Welcome to NoVa. New developments like this is key to economic growth.

Healthy grocery and eating options and NO Subway, Food Lion, Pizza hut, Vape Shop, Dollar store, Nail shop that populate 100% of every shopping center in Manassas/Woodbridge.

Asked my family and a couple more ideas they had for restaurants were The Melting Pot a Smashburger, Cava, some small boutiques you can't find at a mall, also a nice brewery. Somewhere/something special for couples to go for a nice date night. An area where special events can take place for the community at a price (Hay ride in the fall, horse drawn carriage rides at Christmas, and a horse drawn ride carriage ride with at Valentine's Day, etc...

There is zero benefit to this other than adding additional traffic on an already over-populated route. Unless you can solve the existing traffic issues first, then please don't bother attempting this project.

There will most likely be a Whole Foods in Potomac Shores. I have several friends who live in that neighborhood and they have voted for Whole Foods.
