I would love for this district to show what a sustainable, highly energy efficient and/or net zero mixed used development would look like. It has never been done in PWC and it's desperately needed

Make it sustainable and net zero, accessible by foot or public transportation, and keep as many trees as possible. I am concerned about how air quality will be affected by increased pollution and this going against the 100% clean energy goals set by the county. Show you are a leader in sustainability and you have my full support

Open public space for the elderly to entertain and mingle with younger people to help them stay vibrant. Lots of aging in place gojng on in prince william county. I am a mortgage lender and resident since 1972 and since I am 53 this is a popular subject amongst the people that live here since many are in my age range

I hope there will be low & moderate income affordable housing as part of the plan.

Green infrastructure please! That will have the most lasting impact for decades to come.
SIDEWALKS AND BIKE LANES - reduce the reliance on cars. That intersection is not currently pedestrian friendly.
Innovative spaces (e.g. Public outdoor eating spaces/ pop up dining options that came up during the pandemic)

Community gathering space (art, parks, active living, dog parks, housing, education, boat rentals for the water feature being added)

Yes! Having daily necessities and amenities all nearby is amazing. Highly support the 15 minute city concept.

Some active activity would be great and promote active living (e.g. public tennis courts, ice skating). A paved hiking trail around the water would be amazing and a great community destination

Heavy emphasis on PEDESTRIAN FRIENDLY. Please include green storm water infrastructure - rain gardens, bioswales, permeable surfaces, etc

I live nearby
Walking biking trails, dog park, healthy grocery and eating options, a playground or play structure for kids, perhaps a walkable shopping center with a splash pad similar to Potomac Town Center.
