I think accessibility is a huge part of making the Navy yard a more diverse and inclusive space. It is difficult to get to the Navy Yard if you do not have a car. More public transit options servicing a greater number of neighborhoods would be very helpful in making the Navy Yard more accessible to the broader Philadelphia community.

Greening of the Navy Yard project site should be an important planning and design element. Providing open space, formal park areas, waterfront access including access to the river and green infrastructure such as rain gardens will accomplish multiple goals for recreation, public access and storm water management.

All of those mentioned. Since the pandemic I have made several trips down to the Navy Yard to get out of the "city". It would be so great to expand natural or enhance those areas! What would be a fabulous addition would be reopening the Broad Street line down to the Navy Yard. I appreciate it would be a huge project but dream about the impact. I'd love to see more restaurants so on a weekend afternoon, hop on the subway, stroll around the yard and have some food.

Install green infrastructure throughout the Navy Yard project site to reduce water quality and stormwater impacts to the Delaware River.

In addition to pedestrian walkway along the Delaware River, the Navy Yard site should include public access to the river for kayaks, paddleboards, canoes and other boat craft.
